1.Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and RiyadhCargo.com (“we”, “us”, “this service”). They govern your use of this website and everything served from it — pages, desks, reference profiles, guides, data files, feeds, machine-readable endpoints and the Morning Manifest email.
By accessing any part of it you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. If you are using it on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” means both you and it.
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where the two appear to conflict on a data protection question, the Privacy Policy governs.
2.What RiyadhCargo.com is — and what it is not
RiyadhCargo.com is an independent news monitoring service for the cargo, freight and logistics industry. We track reporting from trade press, wire services and regional outlets worldwide and bring together the stories that matter to one readership: professionals moving goods to, from and through the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia first. The site has published under this name and domain since 2024.
This is not a description for a marketing page. It is an operative term of this agreement, and everything below depends on it:
IT IS
✓A news monitoring and headline aggregation service.
✓A reading room — every headline links to the publisher that reported it.
✓A publisher of reference material: statistics, port and airport profiles, and procedure guides compiled from named official sources.
✓An independent operation, with no ownership, sponsorship or contractual relationship with any organisation it covers.
IT IS NOT
✕A cargo airline, shipping line, carrier or freight operator.
✕A freight forwarder, NVOCC, ground handler, 3PL or logistics provider.
✕A customs broker, customs agent or trade compliance consultancy.
✕A law firm, tax adviser, financial adviser, insurance broker or investment service.
✕Affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or acting for any airline — including Riyadh Air and its separate cargo division of the same name — or any port authority, terminal operator, shipping line, forwarder or government body named anywhere on this site.
✕Able to book, quote, price, carry, clear, store, insure or track a shipment. We have no operational capability of any kind, and never have.
If you have reached this site trying to ship something, you are in the wrong place. We cannot help you, and nobody here will ever take a booking, issue an air waybill, request shipping documents, ask for cargo details or ask you for payment. If someone contacts you claiming to arrange freight in the name of RiyadhCargo.com, it is not us and it is not genuine — please forward it to info@riyadhcargo.com.
3.Licence to use the site
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view this site and its content for your own personal use or the internal business use of your organisation. Under that licence you may:
Read, print and save pages for your own reference.
Quote briefly from our own material with clear attribution and a link back to the page quoted.
Link to any page on this site freely, including deep links to a story, desk, guide or profile. You do not need our permission and you will not be asked for it.
Share a story link with a colleague, a client or a channel.
Reuse the published data files under section 8, on the attribution terms set out there.
You may not, without our prior written permission: republish or systematically redistribute substantial parts of this site; reproduce our compiled tables, guides or profiles as your own product or as part of a competing service; frame the site or present it as your own; strip, obscure or alter attribution, bylines or source lines; or remove any notice of ownership.
The licence terminates automatically on breach. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4.Content, copyright and how aggregation works here
Three different kinds of material appear on this site and they belong to three different sets of people. Knowing which is which is the whole of the copyright position:
Publishers’ reporting
The headline, any summary line and the underlying article belong to the publisher named on the item. We show a headline, a short extract where the publisher’s own feed supplies one, the publisher’s name, the date, and a link to the original. We do not republish articles, we do not host publishers’ text, and we never present anyone’s reporting as ours.
Figures released by Mawani, GACA, GASTAT, ZATCA, UNCTAD, the U.S. Energy Information Administration and comparable bodies belong to those bodies. We attribute every one of them under the table it appears in, and anyone reusing them should do the same.
We link, we attribute, and we keep extracts short — deliberately, and by design rather than by luck. In the European Union, Article 15 of Directive (EU) 2019/790 gives press publishers a right over the online use of their publications by information society services, but expressly carves out acts of hyperlinking and the use of individual words or very short extracts. Our practice is built to sit inside that carve-out, and inside the equivalent quotation, fair dealing and fair use exceptions elsewhere.
Licensed price assessments are never reproduced on this site in any form — not from S&P Global Platts, Argus, TAC Index, Freightos, Xeneta or WorldACD. Where a rate figure appears, it is a short, attributed, linked citation of a published news report of that figure, and the page says so.
Publishers: if you would rather your feed were handled differently, credited differently, or not carried at all, write to info@riyadhcargo.com and we will act on it. No lawyer required. We would far rather have the conversation than the correspondence.
5.Notice and takedown — copyright and other complaints
If you own rights in material that appears on this site and believe it is used without authority, tell us and we will look at it promptly. A notice should contain five things:
Who you areyour name, the organisation you act for, and an email address we can reply to.
What the work isthe article, photograph, table or dataset, with a URL to your own original.
Where it isthe exact URL or URLs on this site that you are complaining about.
The basisthat you own the right or are authorised to act for the owner, and that the use is not authorised by you, by a licence or by law.
A confirmationthat the information in your notice is accurate.
Send it to info@riyadhcargo.com with “Copyright notice” in the subject line. We will acknowledge it, and where a complaint is well-founded we will remove or amend the material without waiting to be persuaded twice. The same route is open for complaints about defamation, privacy, trademark, or anything else published here — use “Legal notice” in the subject line instead.
We reserve the right to decline a notice that is plainly unfounded, and to say why. Sending a notice you know to be false may itself carry liability in your jurisdiction.
6.User content — tips, corrections and anything you send us
There is no login for readers, no comment box and no public posting on this site. The only content you can submit is what you put in an email to the newsdesk: a story tip, a correction, a data point, a document, a complaint.
By sending it you confirm that you have the right to send it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it in our reporting and to keep it in our records. We may verify it independently, edit it, act on it, publish what it leads us to, or ignore it entirely.
We treat tips discreetly. But do not send confidential, privileged or embargoed material expecting confidentiality unless you have agreed the terms with us in writing first — if you need a confidential channel, ask for one before you send anything. Do not send personal data about other people that you have no right to share, and do not send anything you are contractually or legally barred from sending.
We do not pay for tips and we owe you nothing for one. Nothing you send, and nothing we do with it, creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture or fiduciary relationship between us.
7.Prohibited uses
You must not use this site, or anything obtained from it, to:
Break any applicable law, regulation, sanctions regime or export control.
Republish our compilation, our tables, our profiles or our guides as your own product, or scrape them into a competing feed or dataset.
Present yourself as connected to, endorsed by, employed by or acting for RiyadhCargo.com, or use our name or marks as a badge of origin for anything you offer.
Solicit freight business, payment, shipping documents or cargo details from anyone in our name.
Interfere with the site: probing, scanning, denial of service, circumventing rate limits or access controls, or attempting to reach the administrator panel or any page disallowed by robots.txt.
Harvest email addresses, or send unsolicited commercial mail to anyone connected with this service.
Introduce malware, or use the site as a vector to reach anyone else.
Misrepresent what a story says, or attribute to a publisher something they did not report.
Rely on, or induce anyone else to rely on, a page here as evidence that a shipment, route, facility, cargo or counterparty is safe, lawful, insured, sanctioned or cleared.
We may block, rate-limit, or remove access without notice where we reasonably believe any of this is happening, and we are not obliged to explain what triggered it.
8.Automated access, crawling and AI
Crawlers, indexers, answer engines and AI agents are welcome here, and unusually so. robots.txt explicitly allows the named search, answer-engine and AI training crawlers; /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt describe the site in machine-readable form; and /wire.json, /feed.xml, /markets.json and the CSV downloads exist for exactly this purpose. We would rather be read correctly by a machine than paraphrased incorrectly.
The condition on that welcome is attribution, and it is the same standard we hold ourselves to. Credit the publisher named on each item first; credit RiyadhCargo.com for the regional monitoring, the desk and the compiled figure; and cite the releasing authority named under the table for any official statistic. Do not present our compilation, or a summary of it, as your own original work.
Automated access must respect robots.txt, must not degrade the service for readers, and must not attempt to reach paths that robots.txt disallows. Bulk access that ignores these Terms is unauthorised whatever the crawler’s user-agent string says, and permission granted in robots.txt may be withdrawn.
The published data files on the Saudi cargo data desk are offered for free reuse with attribution to the releasing authority and to this site. That is a grant, and it is deliberate: the figures are more useful in the world than locked in a page.
9.The Morning Manifest
The Morning Manifest is a free daily email briefing. Subscription is opt-in and confirmed by a link, every edition carries a working unsubscribe, and one-click unsubscribe is supported.
We may change its format, timing, length or content, pause it, or discontinue it entirely, at any time. We may remove an address that hard-bounces, that is dormant, that was entered by somebody other than its owner, or that is used abusively. It is free of charge, and we give no commitment that any particular edition will be compiled, sent, or delivered to your inbox rather than your spam folder.
10.Disclaimer — no warranty
The site, its content, its data files and everything derived from them are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness or currency.
In particular, and without limiting that, we do not warrant that:
A headline or summary accurately represents the article beneath it. Those are the publisher’s words, or a short précis of them, and the original is one click away for a reason.
Any figure, rate, date, tonnage, volume, capacity, deadline or procedure on this site is current, complete or correct.
A feed will be available, a story will be retained, a link will keep resolving, or the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
A procedure guide or reference profile reflects the rule as it stands today. Rules change constantly; the authority named on the page is the only binding source.
The markets strip on the front page is explained in full at About — the Markets Desk method. One of its four numbers is modelled rather than observed, one is a citation of a published figure rather than a feed, and the official spot assessments are days old by design. It is context for the stories around it. It is not a trading feed, and nothing on it should settle a contract, price a tender or open a position.
11.No professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, customs, tax, regulatory, financial, investment, insurance or operational advice, and nothing on it is offered as such. We are a newsroom. No adviser–client, broker–client or fiduciary relationship arises from reading a page, downloading a file or receiving the email, and none can arise by implication.
Before you act — clear a consignment, classify goods, value an entry, price a tender, sign a charter, hedge a position, choose a counterparty or route a shipment — take advice from someone qualified and licensed to give it, and verify the position with the authority that sets it: ZATCA, SFDA, SASO, GACA, Mawani, or the equivalent in your jurisdiction.
12.Safety, and use at your own risk
Freight is a physical business, and some of what this site reports concerns dangerous goods, chokepoints, conflict-affected waters, sanctions exposure, cold chain and pharmaceutical handling. The gap between a news page and an operational instruction is not a technicality; it is the whole of the difference.
Anything you do on the strength of something you read here, you do at your own risk. That includes, without limitation: routing decisions in or around the Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb, the Strait of Hormuz, the Suez Canal or any other corridor covered here; the handling, packing, segregation or declaration of dangerous goods; temperature-controlled and pharmaceutical handling; and reliance on any published capacity, tonnage, clearance time, opening hour or restriction.
Operational and safety decisions must be made against the current instructions of the carrier, the handling agent and the responsible authority, and against the applicable IMDG Code, IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations or national rule — never against a news page, and never against this one.
13.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contract, cargo, goodwill, anticipated saving or data — however arising, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, and whether or not the possibility of that loss was known to us.
We will not be liable for loss arising from: reliance on any content on this site; any error, omission, delay, interruption, inaccuracy or outdated figure; anything published by a third party we link to; the unavailability of the site, a feed or the email; or unauthorised access to data notwithstanding reasonable security measures.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims connected with this service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose and (b) US$100. This service is free of charge, so (a) will normally be nil — and that is the bargain on offer: you get it for nothing, and you carry the risk of relying on it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site or its content, your infringement of anyone else’s rights, or any material you send us.
15.Third-party sites, sources and services
This site is built out of links. Following one takes you to a third party we do not control and are not responsible for: not their content, not their accuracy, not their availability, not their security, not their privacy practices, and not their terms of use.
A link is not an endorsement, and the absence of a link is not a criticism. Publishers appear here because they cover this beat, not because they have any relationship with us — and in almost every case they have none.
16.Advertising, sponsorship and referral link disclosure
This site may carry paid placements. Where it does, they are labelled, and they are labelled on the surface the reader is looking at — not in a line at the foot of a page that nobody reads.
A sponsored or advertising placement is marked as such where it appears, and every paid outbound link carries rel="sponsored nofollow" — the correct technical signal, and the one that stops a placement passing search authority to whoever bought it.
A referral or affiliate link is one where we may receive a commission or other benefit if you click through and transact. Where any link on this site is a referral link, it will say so at the point of the link. Any commission is paid by the merchant and costs you nothing extra.
Sponsorship buys placement. It does not buy coverage, favourable treatment, suppression of a story or a mention on the wire. No advertiser sees copy before publication, and no story on this site has ever been placed, altered or withheld for a commercial reason. If that ever changes, this paragraph changes with it, publicly, before it happens.
One technical carve-out, stated so that it is not a surprise: a paid placement may load third-party script where the placement genuinely requires it for ad serving or attribution. Editorial and reference pages stay script-free, which is the rule the rest of this site is built on.
17.Trademark disclaimer
“RiyadhCargo.com”, the RiyadhCargo.com wordmark and the gold grid device are marks of this service.
Every other name, mark, logo, brand and product name appearing on this site — Riyadh Air, Riyadh Cargo, Saudia Cargo, Mawani, DP World, Emirates SkyCargo, Qatar Airways Cargo, Maersk, ZATCA, GACA, IATA and every other organisation covered here — is the property of its respective owner. They appear for one reason only: to identify the organisation being reported on. That is referential, or nominative, use, and without it there would be no way to report news about a named company at all.
Consistently with that, and as a matter of standing editorial policy, we:
Use only as much of a mark as is needed to identify the organisation — the name, set in our own type, never a logo, house colour or brand styling presented as ours;
Do nothing that would suggest sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation or approval by the owner of the mark; and
State expressly, in the footer of every page of this site, that we are not affiliated with any of them.
No trademark owner has authorised, reviewed, approved or endorsed anything on this site, and none has been asked to.
Two names. Two unrelated organisations. “Riyadh Cargo” is the air-freight division that Riyadh Air launched on 21 January 2026, carrying belly-hold cargo on its wide-body fleet from the Riyadh hub. RiyadhCargo.com — this website — is an independent news monitoring service that has published under this name and this domain since before that division existed. There is no affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, ownership, partnership, agency or connection of any kind between them.
If you are looking for the airline
You want riyadhair.com/en/riyadh-cargo. Riyadh Air is the only party that can book, quote, price or carry freight under that brand. We cannot and will not attempt to. Nobody at this website will ever take a booking, issue an air waybill, request shipping documents or ask you for payment — if someone does so in our name, or in the airline’s name citing this site, it is fraudulent, and we would like to hear about it at info@riyadhcargo.com.
Priority, and good faith
The riyadhcargo.com domain, and the publication on it, predate the airline’s cargo brand. The domain’s registration history is a matter of public record and can be verified independently through the WHOIS record — we do not ask anyone to take our word for it. The site has published continuously as a Saudi-first cargo and freight news service since 2024.
The name describes exactly what the publication does: cargo and freight news with a Riyadh and Saudi-first focus. It was not chosen to trade on anyone else’s goodwill, and as a matter of chronology it could not have been — the goodwill now attached to the airline’s cargo brand did not exist when this site adopted the name.
What we do about the collision
Every page of this site carries an express non-affiliation statement in the footer.
The airline’s cargo division has its own dedicated coverage desk here, which opens with the disambiguation and links to the airline’s own site above the fold.
This site’s structured data names the publisher as “RiyadhCargo.com” and separately identifies Riyadh Air’s cargo division as a distinct organisation with its own identifier — so search engines and answer engines are told, in machine-readable form, that these are two entities and not one.
We use the airline’s name only to report on it, never as a badge of origin for anything we offer.
We do not bid on the airline’s name in advertising, run placements against it, or use it in any way designed to divert its customers.
Coverage is not affiliation
We report on Riyadh Air and its cargo division on precisely the same terms as we report on Saudia Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo, Qatar Airways Cargo, DP World, Mawani and everyone else on this beat: without permission, without payment, and without fear or favour. Reporting on an organisation is not a relationship with it, and nothing on this site should be read as one. Our coverage desk for the airline’s cargo division is a news desk, exactly like every other desk here.
Any question about any of this — from a reader, a publisher, a regulator or the airline itself — is welcome, and will be answered.
19.Corrections and right of reply
We publish corrections. If something here is wrong — a figure, a date, an attribution, a characterisation — write to info@riyadhcargo.com saying what is wrong and what the correct position is, and we will fix it. Corrections are made on the page itself rather than tucked away, and the corrections route is stated at About — corrections and published in this site’s structured data.
An organisation we have reported on may ask to have its position recorded. We will consider any such request in good faith and on its merits. We do not undertake to remove accurate reporting, and a request for correction is not a request for removal.
20.Availability, changes to the service, and termination
The site is provided free of charge and without any commitment as to availability. We may change, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of it — a page, a desk, a feed, an endpoint, the email — at any time and without notice.
Story URLs are kept stable where we reasonably can, and the archive is deliberately deep. But the wire is a rolling record of what is being reported, not an archive of record, and no undertaking is given that any particular URL will resolve indefinitely.
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — the licence restrictions, sections 10 to 14, section 17, and section 23 — survive it.
21.Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. The current version always lives at this URL, and the “last updated” date at the top of the page is the authoritative one — it moves when the text moves, and not when the site is rebuilt.
Continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. A material change affecting subscribers will be flagged in the Morning Manifest.
22.General
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it is severed or read down to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder stands.
No waiver
A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right or of any other.
Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us on their subject matter and replace anything said or written before.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours on a transfer of the service, with notice on this page.
No third-party rights
A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right to enforce any of them.
Force majeure
We are not liable for a failure or delay caused by anything outside our reasonable control, including network, power, provider, infrastructure or upstream publisher failure.
Language
These Terms are written and are to be interpreted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only; the English text governs.
Headings
Section headings and numbers are for navigation and citation. They do not affect interpretation.
23.Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or their formation (including non-contractual disputes and claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Nothing in this section removes the benefit of any mandatory protection available to a consumer under the law of the country in which they are resident, or any right that law gives them to bring proceedings there.
Before starting proceedings, please write to us. Send it to info@riyadhcargo.com with “Legal notice” in the subject line and give us thirty days to resolve it. In our experience most things that arrive looking like a legal problem turn out to be a correction.
24.Contact information
Every question about these Terms goes to info@riyadhcargo.com. The contact page carries the other newsdesk routes — story tips, corrections, advertising and general enquiries — each of which opens an email with the subject line already set.
